I am a mixed-media artist. I am interested in how people experience places they are not originally from and the power of everyday items, like food and living spaces, to convey culture. My work often reflects the Southwestern United States and Anatolia, Turkey. I also enjoy reusing found materials and reviving discarded objects.

I am from Houston, Texas.  I am currently an artist-in-residence at Index Art Center in Newark, New Jersey.
